Important Note: These provide soft daytime privacy and light diffusion, not darkness. For night-time privacy, you’ll need an additional layer (like a drapery).

Delicate Fabric: The sheer material is beautiful but can snag. Handle with clean hands and avoid contact with rough surfaces or sharp tools during installation.

Vane Alignment Test: After mounting, use the control system (bead chain or motor) to gently tilt the vanes up and down through their full range. Ensure all vanes move in unison smoothly. A break-in period is normal.

Motorized Calibration: Smart sheer shadings may require a calibration cycle in the app to set the upper and lower travel limits for the vane tilt function. Refer to the motor-specific guide.

Double-check your measurements! We recommend using a steel tape measure and measuring the exact window width and height in three places.

Power First: Decide your power source (plug-in transformer or rechargeable battery pack) and have it ready. Fully charge the battery before installation if applicable.

Test Before Mounting: Pair the motor with your remote and/or app, and perform a test run before securing it in the window. Verify it travels smoothly and responds to commands.

Signal & WiFi: For smart models, ensure your WiFi signal is strong near the window during setup for easy integration with your home network.
